Experience:

Mr. Tan Zehong is part of the Investment and Financing Department at Topwe Law Firm. Prior to joining Topwe, he worked in the legal department of a large state-owned enterprise in Anhui Province. Since joining Topwe in 2016, he has focused on the investment and financing field, particularly in government investment legal affairs. He has represented the government in numerous projects involving government investment attraction, public-private partnerships (PPP), government platform company restructuring, and equity transactions and acquisitions. Notable projects include the National Reserve Forest Quality Improvement PPP project, a 20 billion RMB investment by the National Forestry Administration, Fujian Provincial Government, and China Development Bank. Mr. Tan also specializes in resolving investment disputes, effectively utilizing both litigation and non-litigation methods. He has represented cases in intermediate courts, provincial higher courts, and the Supreme People’s Court. His case involving a dispute over western investment was recognized as one of China’s top ten influential tax judicial cases by the Fiscal and Tax Law Research Association of the China Law Society. Mr. Tan is also a member of the Legal Affairs Working Committee of the Fujian Provincial Construction Industry Association.
