Experience:

Before practicing law, Mr. Zheng Wenpei worked in the public security department for over thirteen years, holding positions in economic investigation, criminal investigation, and legal systems, familiar with criminal investigation, economic crime investigation, and public security administrative law enforcement, and often represented administrative agencies in court as a public lawyer. Since becoming a lawyer, he has focused on criminal defense, handling over a hundred criminal cases, and has been evaluated as a criminal law professional lawyer and administrative law professional lawyer in Fujian Province. Mr. Zheng is also one of the initiators of the “Rongcheng Criminal Practice Salon”, a criminal law-oriented intellectual exchange platform in Fuzhou City. He actively promotes professional research in criminal defense among lawyers in Fuzhou.

Before joining Topwe, Mr. Zheng served as deputy party branch secretary and partner in a well-known law firm in Fujian Province, being a key member of the firm’s criminal law team.

With extensive frontline experience in the public security system, Mr. Zheng is particularly adept at handling complex cases involving intersections of civil and criminal issues, such as economic crime cases involving entrepreneurs and executives. He represented a case of infringing trade secrets that was selected as one of the top ten judicial protection cases for intellectual property by the Fuzhou Intermediate People’s Court. In the field of corporate criminal compliance, he is able to identify substantial issues in administrative management and system construction based on case involvement, effectively improving corporate criminal compliance rectification to achieve non-prosecution for enterprises and involved personnel.
